Peter was exceptional to work with. I presented him with my dad‘s vintage turntable, which hasn’t worked in 20+ years. I had no idea what was wrong with it. All I knew was it wasn’t working. Peter had it working in a matter of weeks, and the sound is incredible. I can’t wait to present my dad with this gift for his birthday. So grateful to Peter for restoring my dad‘s cherished memorabilia.

Peter’s work on my Technics reel-to-reel was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, he shared constant status updates and kept me informed at every stage of the process. The expected completion date was clearly communicated and met. Most importantly, the unit has never functioned or sounded as well as it does now. It is performing beyond my expectations. The attention to detail and technical expertise demonstrated by Peter throughout was outstanding! Unquestionably, I would recommend Peter to anyone seeking service on vintage audio.

I had a belt drive turntable that was about 40 years old that I wanted to restore and use again. No power was going through the turntable. Reached out to Peter for him to look it over. He determined the capacitors had gone bad. While not able to get exact original parts he was able to find replacement parts and got it up and running. Definitely knows his electronics!! Great communication - and work completed more quickly than promised!! Highly recommend!!!

We had a very complex volume control assembly for a rare French made jukebox that needed a complete rebuild. It had compound/sequential pots plus a dozen or so resistors and caps. No replacement parts were available world wide . For months we searched for a repair facility but nobody wanted to touch it. Finally an electronic supply house recommended Peter at Dayton Vintage Audio. Peter said “No Problem” and in a few days he called announcing the finished product. The jukebox has never sounded so good! Thank you Peter! Sincerely, Carl Morrell

Peter took my old tired pioneer receiver and made it sound great again. I cannot be any more pleased with his work. Reasonable cost. I highly recommend him. He will be servicing my equalizer later in the year. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My best friend and local musician Gerry sent me to Dayton Vintage Audio to service my Yamaha CR-600 Receiver. Peter repaired and improved the system as it had various issues. Turnaround was fast and Peter explained exactly what he uncovered and corrected. My receiver performs fantastic and sounds spectacular. I remain extremely impressed with Dayton Vintage Audio’s quality of work and service. You will be equally satisfied.

Took my Denon DP300 turntable to Pete that hasn’t worked for years with one channel out. Turned out it was an issue with the tonearm internal connection and needed a new tonearm which I was able to find. Pete then replaced the arm and installed the new cartridge I had and it sounds amazing now.
